Latest info can be found on our US poker websites webpage.

– A large network of casinos ceased operating out of the US this week. They were in the top 5 brands to abruptly discontinue the acceptance of US players, bestcasinopartner brands, ie: crazyslots, onlinevegas etc.

– Quicktender / Usemywallet is officially done for. They have issued a statement today that they can not submit withdraws and are shutting down. Omniously they said they are not sure IF OR WHEN they will be able to make payouts. The IF part is not good, but the government has repeatedly said they are after the institutions, not the US citizens so I have faith eventually money will be received as it should simply be sitting in one US intermediary bank.

– Doylesroom.com has changed to doylesroom.ag to continue services after their domain seizure.

– Gaming sites are beginning to adapt to the barrage of attacks by the US government. Due to all the recent indictments some big sites such as Bodog.com have already switched to Bodog.EU which can NOT be seized by the US government. Good for you Bodog! Bookmaker also pretty much said screw the US and simply changed their domain name to Bmaker.ag, another domain extension the US government can’t touch. Hopefully poker sites on the Merge and Cake Networks will adopt a similar approach.
News sources are reporting that Full tilt poker has refunded US players promotions they had accumulated such as rakeback earnings. But so far, no US citizens can yet cashout.

– More indictments and domain seizures have started again today. Doylesroom, Truepoker and 9 other sports betting domains have been seized by the US government. I expect to see most sportsbooks simply change their URLS rather than lose out on the US market and face jail time on what was clearly illegal.

Quicktender aka Usemywallet withdraws are now under pressure by the US government. They have suspended US customer withdraws. According to their statement they are still not fully aware of the problem but believe the money is being seized in the US in where their partners bank sends out the money. Looks like another Neteller type scenario where we have to wait on funds while they close to the US market. Bleak times…

– It appears the April 15th shakeup is now hitting the online casino sites market. Recently announced one of the largest group of casinos have pulled out of the US market, Casino Coins. They included the casinos as follows: Caribbean Gold, English Harbour, Millionaire Casino, Silver Dollar, Slots Galore, Super Slots and VIP Slots.

– Interaction poker has dropped out of the united states market today. Apparently a spokesperson for Ultimatebet and Absolute Poker said they are coming to agreements with the DOJ in the return on US funds. If true, this is great news for us who have money stuck…still not holding my breath though.

– I did a quick numbers analysis of Stars, Tilt and Party for the “before” and “after” player traffic to be added to the ongoing UIGEA chart. Nothing all that new if you’ve been following the news, but interesting to look at how things have procured over the last 4.5 years.
– Also, BetUS has pulled out of US market for new players…time to change the “US” to “us”….
May 1, 2011 – 1:55am
– Playersonly and Sportsbook.com have officially closed their doors to new US customers, confirmed via press release. Full Tilt Poker announced they are still trying to get players paid. Hopefully they sort it out this week.
