Tight aggression is the key.It’s a familiar myth amongst Sit and Go poker players that playing loose early in the game is the best strategy.On the contrary you should play extremely tight early in the game and open your game up late in the Sit and Go tournament.

Sit and Go Tip 2.How Much to Bet

A good bet with a first-rate hand is anywhere from 8-12% of your stack. Use this percentage early in the game.Early in the game you will go by the percentage a lot more than late in the tournament.\

Sit and Go Tip 3.What Hands to Bet With

As we said try and only play premium hands early on.Your ace 7 is not a premium hand just because it is suited!A quality hand is pocket Jacks or better and your AK, AQ, and KQ.

Sit and Go Tip 4.Don’t Limp Late

You’re just throwing your chips away if you try to limp in late in the game. You should either be raising or folding at this point in time. The blinds will chip away your stack and limping will keep you out of the cha-ching.

Sit and Go Tip 5.Art of Small Pairs

I’ve written a theory about small pairs and it holds true in Sit and Go poker online as well. The basics of this theory state it is better to limp in with small pairs when the blinds are low. Raising with small pairs is ok in late position if you feel everyone else is weak and you can take down a pot preflop with a good sized bet. Push with small pairs late in Sit and Go’s and limp in with them early in the game. That is the basics of the theory.

Sit and Go Tip 6. When to Bluff?

Yup, you’ve got to bluff in Sit n Go’s or you’ll never win. Bluffing is crucial late in the tournament. Pay interest to your position and this will tell you when to bluff.

Sit and Go Tip 7. Position

Position is without a doubt the most significant facet of Sit and Go poker online. A great position to be in especially for bluffing is two spots counter clockwise of the dealer. Why two spots? Well most players understand that players like to bluff one position next to the dealer so a lot of the times you will get “caught” in that position.

Sit and Go Tip 8. Heads Up

Playing heads up poker should be a lot of fun once you make it. The aggressor will win 80% of the time. You should adjust your play accordingly and note that Ace high is a great hand when heads up. Even king high isn’t too shabby. Become the aggressor and you will win just about every time.

Sit and Go Tip 9. Multitabling Sit and Go’s

Playing more than one Sit and Go table is a must if you are looking to make good money per hour. Playing more than one table also helps you fight off a potential for impatience. Be careful as not to go on tilt as multi-tilt is no fun. When starting off I recommend no more than 3 tables at once.

Sit and Go Tip 10. Which Poker Site?

Would you rather play against pros or fish? Hmm, how do you know which site has more fish than pros? I got one word for you, rakeback. Avoid sites that offer rakeback because they attract a ton of Sit and Go pros.
