Carl Olson has placed in the World Series of Poker and the French Poker Open. He continues his online career under screen name Colson 10.

Who is Carl Olson?

So far, Carl has made 54 cashes, has 5 career titles, and his total winnings stand at $1,098,475. Carl has always been known as Colson10 in the online poker world. One of the first poker sites he joined was pokerroom.com, for which he was a top poker player. A resident of Seattle, this ambitious poker player has successfully realized many of his poker dreams.

The Battle From Seattle

The press calls the tale of Carl’s rise to fame, which has a touch of irony in it, “Battle of Seattle.” This is the story of Carl’s poker fight with one of his poker buddies from Seattle. The scene of the fight was the prestigious live poker event, the French Open. Carl played against his Seattle friend Brandon Schaefer for a breathtaking prize pool of $140,000, which at the time was a lot of money.

Young Olson didn’t stop there as he then had his eyes set on the World Series of Poker. As he did before Olson went back to the computer and previous home site PokerRoom and began online qualifiers where he had so much success before.

BetOnline.com is still accepting real money USA players.

His shot at the Gold Rush

Olson focused on winning the Team Pokerroom.com WSOP prize package. He qualified for the package, became a pro, and headed over to Las Vegas to participate in the WSOP, the largest, most prestigious, and most lucrative live poker event in the world. Carl ended up in 263rd place. Many poker pros would argue that there was nothing special about this. However, considering the fact that the WSOP attracts more than 5,000 talented poker players from all over the world, this was a great achievement indeed. Carl won $24,365 at his first WSOP.

Needless to say, Carl went on to play many more WSOP’s and added a lot of money to his fast-growing bankroll. Carl is indeed one of the biggest and most inspiring success stories of the online poker world.

As of late, Olson hasn’t been heard of as much. While he is still playing online and offline he hasn’t been on much of a winning steak.
