Gatorpay Pre-Paid Teleco Review

This deposit option is no longer in use.  We are recommending players to look at the Poker eChecks review which details the easiest way to currently deposit online.

…………………………………………………

This ewallet, Gatorpay.com, is being put into practice at Fulltiltpoker.com.  GatorPay is in trial phase and only some people see it as a poker deposit option in the cashier.

It is what we are dubbing a “Pre-paid teleco clone”.  This means that there is one Pre-paid teleco company out there that issues the rights to use their patentened services to each poker site.  In turn each poker site uses the same technology but the ewallet is named something entirely different.

How GatorPay works

If you are familiar with Nucharge or Add-funds then you already know how Gatorpay works.  You first register and fund your Gatorpay account with a check (echeck).  For some reason at the time of this review Visa and Master Cards were not listed as funding options but will likely be added in the future.

Ok so after you fund your account you get a pin number where you can then use that information to deposit at the poker room by selecting “GatorPay” as the deposit option.  Total registration to deposit and begin playing generally takes around 10 minutes.

Gatorpay Fees and Deposit Amounts

  • Fees:  3% + $.90 loading fee
  • Deposit Caps:  Not listed but generally allowed $100 – $300 amounts
  • Physical Debit Cards can be purchased
