Flush Draws against Stronger Players
Here is how you play flush draws against better players. Stronger opponents tend to be much more aggressive in nature. When playing weaker players you could go ahead and bet into a flush draw. Typically your opponent would fold. The weaker player will usually just call a bet even if they have top pair. This gives you a chance to hit your flush without having to pay very much.
Since the better player will generally re-raise you if you bet into your draw it is beneficial to not bet into too many draws. Of course, if you play back with over aggression you could also potentially get your opponent to fold. He might put you on a set or two pair. If you get called you still have a flush draw and a good chance of making it. This type of play is risky but can pay off ten fold.
