Party Poker Accepts Canada

Best Deposit Option

Usemybank and Moneybookers are the best Canada poker deposit options for Party Poker.  Usemybank is good for “instant” deposits while Moneybookers takes verification but is better in the long run.  Using one of these ewallets is a good way to avoid the absurd exchange rates Party Poker will charge you.

Why the Mix Up?

Back in March of 2007 a lot of our fellow Canadians believed Party Poker would stop accepting them.  Why is that you ask?  Well during this time Neteller was in dismay and was getting ready to tell the world they were halting transactions for Canadians and players from Turkey.  Party Poker knew of this ahead of time and went ahead and dropped the use of Neteller for Canada.

Canadian Funding Options

Neteller recently dropped out of the Canadian market.  They said that due to uncertainties with the market they had to do so.  We recommend our Canadian friends to use epassporte or credit cards to deposit and play at Party Poker if you don’t mind paying exchange rates.  See above funding options section to avoid these fees.

Canadian Freerolls at PartyPoker

In recent months Party Poker has added $500 freerolls for all new Canadian poker players.  A typical first place prize in one of these tournaments is about $80 and about 3000 people usually enter.  These freerolls are labeled “Canadian $500 Freeroll NL” in the freeroll tournament tab at Partypoker.com.
