Apple reports that supplies of the 17in iMac G5’s are just about out

Looks like Apple users who wanted the 17in iMac are sort out of luck.  Apple reported that the iMac G5’s are out of stock both in the and Internationally.

It seems Apple users were waiting for the price to drop for the iMacs before they were going to buy one.  Now that Apple has halted the manufacturing of these models customers were waiting at their door steps to buy one.

Both the 15in and the 20in are completely out.  The first place to see the shortage was internationally and then the reported a depletion of supplies as well.

With the new Intel on its way Apple has no reason to make the iMacs.  Some customers say they were a little disappointed because they were looking for the low price of the older technology but can no longer can find supplies.

While some customers are mourning the depletion some are just excited about the new Mac Intel’s to really care.
