| Poker Royalty to Handle Bill Edler Affairs It has been announced recently that Poker Royalty has been requested by professional poker player Bill Edler to handle his public relations and professional affairs.
The deal which was signed in the past days means that Poker Royalty will be put in charge of Edler's international management marketing aspects of his portfolio These marketing aspects include the likes such as sponsorship, licensing and public addressing and media appearances.
Bill Edler has been gracing the poker world with his presence for many years and there are not many serious players who have not heard about him. From his humble beginnings of playing poker in order to make money to put himself through college to later becoming a prop player at San Francisco's Casino San Pablo; Edler has what to offer the poker world.
During his stint at Casino San Pablo, Edler was advanced to take up the position of poker room manager. At this point in his career, Edler hired and subsequently became friends with Erick Lindgren. Edler always managed to keep his reputation clean and personal life uneventful, which earned him the title of being a Mr. Nice Guy in the poker scene.
In 2007, the world grabbed a glimpse of Edler in poker action when he appeared at the televised final table of the Poker Classic Word Poker Tour in Los Angeles. Following that appearance, Edler made the final table at the WPT Bay 101 in March of the same year, and took sixth place.
2007 continued to be a successful year for Edler when he took a major event win in the World Series of Poker and smashed through over 700 other players to win the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Six-Handed event; as well as coming 23rd out of over 6300 players in the Main Event.
In September of the same year, Edler participated in the WPT Gulf Coast Poker Championship and took that event’s title; while in October he walked away with serious winnings in the WPT North American Poker Championship. Edler’s total winnings in 2007 were $3.5 million from tournament participation.
Now that Edler has signed the deal with Poker Royalty, the company will be assisting him in mapping out his career path and choosing the right opportunities in tournament play and media coverage. Edler has said that he is honored to be working with Poker Royalty, and that apart from being a skilled group of people who will help in his profession, they are also a great group of friends.
