Justin Long the Mac guy we've seen in all the Mac ads will no longer be seen in new Mac ads.

Macrumors is reporting that Justin Long, the Mac guy, is getting the boot by Apple.  The reason, "People ended up liking the PC guy and wanting to push the Mac dude under a truck," said radaronline.com

We can expect to see Phil Morrison and John Hodgman in upcoming new Apple ads.  The new Apple ads will have nothing to do with Justin Long as he won't be seen in even 1 of them.

The concensus was that the Mac guy came across as a smug little prick while the PC guy was more down to earth and likable.  Instead of pushing potential customers towards a Mac the ads might have been pushing customers away.
