| Apple Japan Gets Lucky Apple’s Japanese market is heading for a lucky gift bag Apple will be promoting their new marketing campaign in . This campaign will focus on the concept of getting lucky. Apple purchasers in will get a free “lucky bag”. These lucky bags will be filled with Apple gifts unknown to the buyer.
This is not the first time Apple has done this sort of thing. A similar marketing campaign was seen in the year 2004.
Tokyo was the first time Apple did this type of marketing. The success spread into the where they did it in
San Francisco as well.
It was reported that in 2004 the lucky bags were filled with valuables worth over $600. Occassionally the bags were filled with an iPod mini’s as well. It will be interesting to see exactly what Apple decides to give away in this year.
