| Apple’s Korean Homepage Hacked Latest news has it that Apple’s Korean homepage and mail was hacked by a Turkish hacker. It seems Apple’s new virus campaigns have stirred up some conflict in the nerd world as this may have been what caused the recent hacking of Apple’s Korean’s homepage at www.apple.co.kr.
In early morning the Turkish hacker by the name of Dinam hacked his way into one of the most secure sites on the internet. As soon as Apple got word of the attack they put an end to it and fixed the problem the hack set up.
It turns out the hack inserted several foreign codes into the main homepage of the website. Apple has not yet released any news regarding this issue but the story has been quite the buzz among the Mac community.
Many Mac lovers blame Apple’s new anti-virus ads for the attack. Community members believe these ads provoked the “Nerds” to hack into the system and prove to the whole world what can be done despite what Apple says.
While no damage may have been done to the website it seems Apple’s ego may have been hurt. The final words of the hacker were, “Game Ower”. Some are saying the hacker misspelled “Over”. Full documentation of the hack can be seen here.
